Which brakes will you be using? A 22mm master cylinder is good as part of a big front brakes upgrade. But the master cylinder by itself is a downgrade if you keep the stock brakes. All that happens is you have to press the pedal harder to get the same braking action. You have to press about 15% harder to get the same brake force at the wheel (but the pedal does move 15% less). A larger master cylinder is exactly the same as a shorter lever, less movement, but more force required.
